*Lepidolite is a mica which means it has sheet-like layers. Take care not to chip or break the surface to avoid flaking. Don’t be scared of it, though. Just don’t throw it down or bang it into hard surfaces.
**The term “glue” is kind of a “four-letter-word” in jewelry making, so I prefer to use epoxy…a formula that is regularly used in the industry for inlay, etc. This pin back has been epoxied on because the first one melted during the soldering process and melting components - that I have to source and only have 1 left of - is not my jam.
